1ST THURSDAY 7:00 PM CIARC MEETING Monthly meeting of the CIARC general membership, held at the First Congregational Church, 901 N 1st Street, McCall. Meetings that fall on a holiday, or adjacent to a holiday weekend, may be rescheduled. Please check this calendar entry for any updates to the monthly meeting schedule.
WEDNESDAY PRECEDING CLUB MEETING 8:00 PM CIARC NET Monthly CIARC NET is held on the 147.020 MHz repeater (or any repeater on the CIARC link backbone), held the evening before the CIARC meeting. See the repeater status page for information on repeater and/or link status.

PUBLIC SERVICE EVENTS & CLUB ACTIVITIES

14 MARCH 8:30 AM DAV SNOWMOBILE RIDE FRANCINE WALLACE CIARC providing communications support for the Disabled American Veterans (DAV) snowmobile ride that is hosted and guided by Valley County Search And Rescue (VCSAR). This is a VCSAR Public Service Event that is supported by CIARC.
27-28 JUNE 10:00 AM FIELD DAY SNOWBANK MT CIARC will be setting up HF / VHF / UHF station(s) at the summit of the road to Snowbank Mountain. This is fun event with application towards emergency preparedness exercise, and a good opportunity for operators who are not familiar with HF / Single Side Band operation to gain exposure and experience.
18 JULY VARIED MCTRC JUG HANDLE RANCH & ADDITIONAL AID STATIONS This Public Service event has CIARC portable and mobile operators providing communications for the McCall Trail Running Classic 10-mile, 20-mile and 40-mile foot race. This is an all-day event, with arrival and departure times dependent upon the location that the volunteer is staffing. Further documentation will be made available in the MCTRC Communications Plan for the 2015 event. Watch for an update to the posted communications plan prior to the May CIARC meeting.
19-20 SEPT TBD IMTUF 100 McCall / Burgdorf area This event is scheduled for September 19 through September 20th. Although communications are primarily provided by REACT, and managed by Russ Dunn (N7SMA), the Central Idaho Amateur Radio Club provides use of its communications infrastructure to support this event. CIARC members are asked and encouraged to participate in providing communications services. Contact information will be posted here at a future date. This event is managed by Russ Dunn (N7SMA) and the REACT organization. CIARC makes use of its communication infrastructure in support of this event. CIARC members are encouraged to volunteer.


W5YI-VEC TESTING & CLASS SESSIONS

16 MAY 8:00 AM CLASS & TEST This date is tentative. We're waiting for documentation from the W5YI-VEC, and a commitment from the VE team to attend and support this event. Watch this space for further updates.
