  4. Field Day. [Larry Stokes - N7IBC]

    Idaho DX Association will be at U of I Campus (i.e. Rose Urt), near Ponderosa State Park. They are inviting us to participate. Pot-luck on Saturday at 5PM. Contact Emmett McCormick (NA7EM) to notify him if you are coming to the Pot-luck. Field Day is June 28-29 and runs for 24-hours of operating.

    Due to the planning involved, the CIARC membership favored putting off a CIARC centered Field Day effort until 2015.

  5. Highway Cleanup [Philip Good - KB7BVS, Lenard Crogh - W7HXU]

    Mile marker 159 to 160 has been allocated for the club. Applications and paperwork are being finalized. Sign regulations forbid contact information. This means that the .org cannot be included on the sign.

  6. Hospital Radio [Larry Stokes - N7IBC]

    Tim Wilcox at St. Lukes. Ray Montagne (W7CIA) made a motion to purchase a Tram 1481 VHF/UHF Dual Band Antenna for the Hospital. Second by Richard Wagner (KG7GKK). Approved unanimously.

  7. Class & Testing [Ray Montagne - W7CIA]

    May 17th. Allan & Dee Perrins are coming to help us gain our team certification by supporting us as the VEC. Only four registrants so far.

    Ray Montagne (W7CIA) will send an email out to the VEs ahead of the May 17th class & test date to provide the schedule information for the day.

  8. UHF Radios [Larry Stokes - N7IBC]

    Tim Viehweg has several Motorola Radius UHF radios may be available for donation. Ray Montagne (W7CIA) will see if the Motorola Radius GR1225 Repeater programming cable and software can be used to program a Motorola Radius mobile radio. The hand-held radio is a research project to determine what interface cable and software is required to migrate the hand-held radios to the 70cm amateur radio.
