  1. General discussion centered on concern that planning of assignments and station positions for the McCall Trail Running Classic could not occur due to poor attendance. It was the concensus of those who attended, that a special meeting be called to perform planning for this event.
  2. Due to the lack of attendance, a motion was moved, seconded and approved to table the meeting.
  3. A second motion was moved, seconded and approved to adjourn.

  1. The course, station locations and station assignments for the McCall Trail Running Classic were discussed. A plan was put forth to staff stations as follows:

    Stations need to be in place by 0600 local, when all stations will be required to check in with net control. Check-in will be by a directed roll-call format.

    The McCall Trail Running Classic is scheduled to start at 0630 local.

    1. Operational Procedures

      For all traffic to net control, announce your call sign and wait for acknowledgement from net control.

      1. Emergency Traffic

        After acknowledgement by net control, convey the following information.

        1. Runner Number
        2. Location of runner
        3. Injury Area

        For example: Runner 075 at Granite Mountain Trailhead with a lower leg injury.

      2. Runner Arrival Report

        After acknowledgement by net control, convey the following information.

        1. Runner Number
        2. Location of runner
      3. Traffic Acknowledgement

        Net control will read back all traffic. If net control reads back traffic with no errors, the reporting station should reply by stating READ-BACK CORRECT. If net control reads back traffic with errors, the reporting station should reply by stating CORRECTION and then provide the correction or clarifying traffic in one transmission.

  2. Constitutional issues were tabled for the next meeting.
  3. 2-meter repeater discussion included:
    1. Replacing the 70cm repeater on Mt. Brundage with the 2m repeater.
    2. As an interim measure, remove the 70cm 4-bay dipole and install a Comet vertical (supplied on-loan by Ray Montagne - W7CIA) while using the existing feed-line.
    3. Disable the 33cm link port until proper feed-line and antennas can be installed.
  4. Martin gave a brief overview of the web site changes.
