  1. Membership Report.
    • No new members
    • Number of members in good standing remains at 13
  2. Treasurer's Report.
    • Bob Renn (KF7JPJ) reports the club balance remains at $1377.58.
  3. Rotating Net Control.
    • Ray Montagne (W7CIA) has volunteered to perform net control operator duties for the 2nd and 4th weeks of May 2012 (i.e. May 10th & 24th).
    • Larry Stokes has volunteered to perform net control operator duties for the 3rd week of May 2012 (i.e. May 18th).
    • Note that no net control volunteer was located for the 4th week of May (i.e. May 31st).
  4. Repeater Report.
    • 2-meter repeater status
      • Ray Montagne (W7CIA) brought pictures and block diagrams to show the current state of the repeater rebuild. Status included:
        • All VHF equipment, sans isolator, has been installed and wired.
        • The controller is now being interfaced to the VHF equipment.
        • Conversion and installation of the 33cm equipment is pending completion of the VHF portion of the repeater.
        • A document that describes why the rebuild is so extensive and the planned implementation has been posted at What is being done, why and how.
        • As previously directed by the club, an 80 watt KLM VHF amplifier was acquired from Bill Leoppard (K1BMW). The cost was $100. Reimbursement to Bill was approved by vote and a check was cut by Bob Renn (KF7JPJ). Ray Montagne to deliver payment.
    • The quest for a 2-meter isolator or circulator is on-going.
  5. McCall Trail Running Classic (July 14, 2012)
    • Planning:
      • RF Coverage Survey to be carried out once the snow melts enough to gain access.
      • The following Amateur Radio operators have volunteered to staff this event:

      • Martin will request the following from Jeremy Humphrey:
        • Named Trails
        • Waypoint names (including Latitude & Longitude)
        • Scanned map images
        • Details on release of liability and how CIARC is covered
        This information is needed because neither the U.S. Forest Service maps or the USGS 1:25000 Topographical Maps provide trail information or all U.S. Forest Service road names.
  6. IMTUF 100 (October 6-7, 2012)
    • It does not appear that we have sufficient man power to staff for this event.
